DOT&PF completed the Juneau Creek Bridge design as a steel girder bridge. Construction of the bridge abutments is anticipated to begin in 2024, with construction of the bridge continuing through 2027.

As of May 5, 2025, work completed consists of the drilling for all of the drilled shafts (abutments and pier locations). All below-ground work for the drilled shafts has been completed (steel casings, reinforcing steel and concrete).
Girders are expected to arrive in June 2025. Reinforcing steel installation in the East abutment and forming and pouring the temporary back-span structures will support the girders as they are assembled and launched.
Work on the East pier caps will commence in May 2025, with focus moving to the West side following. By the end of the 2025 construction season, all pier caps and abutments will be poured and ready for launch in 2026.
